Take a look at the background for this picture. Can anyone name the dive site?

OK, some problems with the image; my computer locked up during the upload process. Here's another try. Guess the dive location.

Same problem. One more try, this time I closed my web browser, then reopened it. If this doesn't work I'm going to try rebooting the computer and starting over. I've posted lots of pictures in the past with minimal problems so I don't think its the formatting or the image size.

Well, the old saying goes "the third time's a charm." Not this time. This is my 4th try.

I think I have the problem resolved though . . rebooted the computer AND changed browsers. Checked an image upload in the test area and everything seems to be working now.

This shot was taken at about 50 ft angling back up toward one of the nice canyon walls at the Karpata dive site.

Could be Calabas (in front of the Divi), there are some old dead ended mooring lines there.

OK, here's another. This is one of my favorite dive sites. Now where do you see all of this beautiful staghorn coral . . . several places; guess which one this is.

If I guess "The Lake" often enough, I'm bound to get a winner.

Tribs, you are truly amazing. You are correct again; you really know your dive sites.

Let's try another one. These are pretty tough, but if you know the characteristics of the various sections of the coast you can get close pretty quick. This is another of my favorite sites:

Nope...I wish though. I'm actually prepping one of my lectures for tomorrow. I have not been down by Red Slave yet...so somebody else will have to get this one. It is a hard one.

Bas...Witch's Hut, aka Weber's Joy?

My last picture hasn't been guessed yet; it's a bit too tough without a single distinguishing feature so I'll give a hint. Note the density and lushness of the soft corals; this is typical of several dive sites down south. Another hint . . . this is a named site, but not marked. Get out your Bonaire Shore Diving book and you can narrow this one down quickly.

The Atlantis and Red Slave guesses hit on either side of it.

You're getting red hot! Remember one of the above hints; it's an unmarked site - there are several of these in this area. Another hint; there are some large stands of elkhorn coral near the shore.

I remember Fish Hut is around there somewhere

No Tribs, but you are going the right way. It's not an unmarked site and is actually one many peoples favorite list. Still playing nice... nothing nobody would know ;-) In that category I found some nice ones but who would know. No fun I guess...

Brian, Fish Hut is a good guess - keep moving South. I guess I'm not playing nice by choosing an unmarked site. Several people have mentioned diving this site in posts that I have read in the past. I'll post an easier one once we get this beast out of the way.

If you haven't dove this site I encourage everyone to give it a try; it's beautiful. Soft Coral Garden just to the North is also a great site.

Not many more to the north unless you go into the Park. How about Ol' Blue?

Yes, when you go left at Ol Blue and stay in about 25ft you will come to about 4 or 5 pretty big mounts or really big chuncks of rock... I'm not sure what they are exactly. But they're nicely grown with corals and a lot of fish hang around them.

Good guess, but not right. Take a close look at what Froggie is perched on. This is a popular dive site where the dive master can almost always point out frog fish.

As you enter this southern site there is a single house to the right. I've never seen it occupied. This pic was taken at about 80' looking down at the sand between the start of the double reefs.

It was taken at The Lake last May. One of my favorite dives.

Don't think it's on dry land.
There's dust in light falling through the porthole and there's also sediment on the boards inside.

The blue light also indicates an underwater structure.

Here's a new one. This should be easy.

I would say White Hole. I've never been there, but maybe one day when the wind is right and I can dig up enough drive I,ll give that long walk a shot.

Last year I found about 10 or so Tarpon at the Hilma Hooker. So I would guess Hilma Hooker.

You are also correct. We did not do that dive this last trip (due to conditions) and I really missed it.
