Cecil, you once posted instructions on steps of how to edit the color on uw pictures using photo shop. I can't find the posting now :-( Can you? ... may be post a link to them.. or email them to me? I have been trying but I just don't get the correction I want. I no longer have my old software I use to use for doing this and can't seem to get a handle around photo shop, yet.

Denise

Denise this is a tip, I wrote quite a while ago. The pictures are lost but the steps remain the same.

Cecil, I rarely as in hardly ever touch the colour now.

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Cecil (Supreme BonaireTalker - Post #5177) on Thursday, October 26, 2006 - 7:33 am:     Edit PostPrint Post

Brian, I don't adjust the color as much as my old camera. The new one seems to get a lot closer but still shows some green if it sees rubble. I still increase the color saturation on pretty much all pictures. Digital is still dull.

Cecil

I often find that correcting the contrast and brightness will lift the colour.

I guess I escape much of the need as the strobe helps to show the colour. We saw loads of Octopus last trip inc. three one dive.

Brian if you change the contrast you are touching the color my friend.

Hey again Cecil,

Very nice slideshow from these pictures. One moe question about location. Where'd you find the nurse shark? I've never seen one in Bonaire.

Thanks,
Steve

Thanks. The east side, they are over there but still rare. We were lucky and there was a wind reversal and it was relatively calm and divable.
