To much stuff, here's my list.

Camera
Charge Cable
USB Cable
UW Case
extra o-ring
Laptop
Laptop charge cable
mouse

That's it. KISS. I bring other stuff but it is not required. eg. extra batteries or memory never get taken out of the camera bag.

Now my dive gear is another story.

lol I forgot my usb hookup, which sucked. Luckily I was able to borrow one. At the last minute I used it for something and took it out of the bag, then forgot to put it back in when someone distracted me.

I'm new to digital underwater photography. I just purchased my camera, housing, strobes and chargers. I need to know the best way of getting my camera gear to Bonaire without damage. Does everyone use back packs. I don't have a hard case to pack in my suitcase. Which way is the best.

soft sided, padded camera bags in various combinations taken as carry ons is a good way to transport the stuff...the pelican cases add too much weight themselves and are probably to some extent "a target" ;)

my list is extensive but is intended to provide redundancy that i KNOW is necessary after a few trips;)

and i forgot:

tampons (housing protection;))
tri-pod (w\wireless remote i'm gonna get a hummingbird)

;)

i forgot the strobe charger one trip - aquacat had one so no problem but the point is even a small seemingly insignificant part can blow the whole deal;)

make a list;)
