I'm the guy who had the earler post looking for a D-70 housing for rent. However, the Nikonos V has been my tried and true choice when we went diving 13-20 years ago, (before kids!),and I still have my rig. I used to shoot primarily slide film back then. What are your recomendations for choice of films?

I prefer using Fujichrome 100 ASA, better detail and with the clear water of Bonaire it's more than you need. Just got back from Bonaire on Saturday, I'm dropping film off at the labe later today.

You can actually wait until you get back from you trip to see your photos?! I'm always shuttling back and forth between dives to the photo lab! I just gotta see the latest! (And see if I need to go back out and reshoot it, if the subject is willing).

ditto on the Fujichrome. I'm an avid Nikonos V shooter and my film of choice is Fuji Velvia 100 ISO. It saturates beautifully,,especially where the blues are concerned.
