This was my first trip to Bonaire. We spent one week there. I hope I'm not boring you with these pictures, but I need to thank Dee and Renee for showing me these wonderfull snorkle spots. Thanks to my friend Todd Kaplan from Florida who is a proffesional photographer. He did some croping and photo shop on these. Thanks to my daughter Kasha for spending a few hours in getting these on the web. I just snapped the shots. Dee snapped a few for me!! Thanks to all and hopefully I can do this again next Feb. Hi Kent... I'm pretty sure the 6th one down is a spotted drum (possibly juvenile phase... I don't have a reef fish book yet), no clue on that eel - but am definitely interested - it's really cool looking! :-) Nice pics, by the way

Becky is right, spotted drum, probably mid juve phase because it has some dots. Don't know about the eel though, need to go pull my fish ID book out!

Kent,

The eel you have 2 photos of is a Goldspot Eel (the other one is a sharptail). I tend to mix them up as they both have gold spots, but double checked with Humann.

What is the eel that is second from last? Some kind of moray I don't recognize and I can't find a match in my book.

Kent! I don't know how I missed these!! Wonderful photos!! You did a fabulous job!! I think I even recognize some of your 'subjects' **VBG**, the French Angel is so beautiful. Did you enjoy your photography course at the Sand Dollar??

Forgot to ask ... #15 that was the 'orange slug'?? that I saw at the rock pile near Plaza .. is that where you took the photo? I'm so glad you got the photo as I was doubting myself as you and Aubrey had not seen it. Yay! I'm not losing it!!

Cheryl, Good to hear from you! Yes, I got the orange slug at the plaza. It's the same one you seen. The photo class really helped me. We really worked on getting down and staying down. He looked at some of the pictures that I had and said we won't need to get into taking good pictures. I've been messing around with photagraphy since I was a senior. I took alot of family pictures, senior and wedding pictures. Its something I really enjoy. Now I really enjoy underwater photagraphy. Hope everything is going ok for you guys. I talked to Amy and I think next year we are staying 10 days and we are going to get a studio unit at the Divi. Talk to you later. Kent
