hi guys
I'm travelling to Bonaire on thursday and got a bit worried today. I've got two memorycard for my digital camera each of 1GB. Didn't plan to bring my laptop. I'm now concerned that I wont have enough memory to capture my entire holiday...under water as well as above water on those two card. My question to you all is now, Is there anywhere I can use a computer to, via cable, burn my images on cd's to take home and put on my laptop or do I have to bring it along? Hope anybody can shed some light on this topic and maybe recommend a place where I can get help with this.
thanks a lot.
Iben

Iben....I think that most of the dive shops offer the service to put your shots onto disc...having said that....my vote is for Michael at Chan 'N Browse....it is a truly great operation he runs there.

Not to mention how entertaining and informative Michael can be and how lovely and sweet the ladies who work with him are....Chat n Browse is my choice, too. Carole

I will throw in another vote for Michael. You need to stop by and meet him even if you don't need a computer. Besides, he is next door to Lovers Ice Cream....since it's so close you might as well stop in for a scoop or 2......at least that's my excuse. :-)

Iben

We always take our laptop to download the memory cards and then we burn a CD of the images as well. Just remember that if you only burn one cd and format the card and something happens to it those special images are gone forever. It's the same deal as computers, backup, backup and backup.

One word of warning.
Friends downloaded photos to a CD and when they got home, they couldn't read the CD. Make sure the Verify check box is selected when they burn, and then read the CD on a different computer.
