Ellen Muller, Inon's Artist of the Month for January 2006!

http://www.inonamerica.com/artists.php

Those who have seen Ellen's work posted previously here and on her website:

http://www.pbase.com/imagine

already knew of her keen photographic eye and artistic excellence. And those of us who have had the pleasure of diving with Ellen also know that they have just experienced a dive with a mermaid!

What people may not be aware of though is Ellen's tireless dedication and enthusiasm to the research and protection of inhabitants found in the surrounding waters of her beloved Bonaire.

Congratulations Ellen!

Felis nobo aņa!
;)

Ellen, congratulations! Robert, I couldn't have said it better...with her long brown hair flowing in the water, and her mermaid diving style, she truly belongs in the water:-) Had it not been for her guidance, I wouldn't have a better camera:-)

I also have 3 of her photographs framed in my kitchen:-)

Congratulations, Ellen. Agree with the mermaid comments although I would add that she is a mermaid with an artist's eye. i have had the joy and an honor to dive with Ellen twice now and look forward to the next chance.

I have to second everyone else's enthusiasm about Ellen... what a joy to dive with and it's a pleasure to call her my friend.

A mermaid for sure! ;)

Hi Brian, I probably spotted the shrimp when I was back at home and looking at the photos of the frogfish on my computer screen!!! I once found a rarely photographed circle shrimp (Gnathophyllum circellum) with that method :-)))

Thanks, Kelly and Cyn, it was a "fun" project trying to get that close-up image of the orange ball corallimorph!
