I'm thinking about getting my husband a camera for Christmas. He has no experience in underwater photography....so this would be his first camera. Time magazine raved about this new product. I've reviewed their web site but.....

I bought a SeaLife this spring & have only played with it at our local quarry. (it's digital with external flash - don't know model). I was disappointed with the quality of pictures and the battery consumption (got about 20 pics/2 AA batteries). The viz in the quarry is lousy and the wrecks which are covered with green scum, so all the pics are green. I'll be brining it to Bonaire this year for a full test.

Linda, I don't know much about the SeaLife digital, just looked it up and read a little about it. I've asked "Santa" for a new underwater digital camera and housing, and this is what I'm asking for. I got some good feedback from Ellen Mueller and others...
