Jim, outstanding pictures for a first (or any number) trip. If these are your first time UW pictures, I want to see your topside shots. Those must be spectacular. More, more.

I really like the Tarpon shot

Thanks folks.

The camera was a rented Sea & Sea DX3000 w/ YS-25 flash and was set to its lowest resolution so as to speed it up. The actual camera is a Ricoh but I'm not sure what model.

The tarpon is probably the best shot I got while at the Hilma. That was my very first dive with a camera so I was still figuring things out and I got a lot of backscatter in the others.

I loved the free swimming green moray and the tarpon! Very nice pictures! We take a lot of pictures too and only a dozen or so of really good ones in the end due to the backscatter too.

Jim, that is fantastic work for a first attempt at underwater photography! Very, very impressive. Such nice shots. Thanks for posting them for us to enjoy. Carole

PS You should hold your head up high with the results you achieved!
