I finally got around to reconfiguring this pics for the web, after editing them and printing a few. These are all from a trip to Capt'n Don's with Hampton Dive Center. It was my 4th trip to Bon, but the first one with the new camera, a D-70 with the kit lens in an Ikelite housing with one D-125 strobe. In fact, it's my first underwater rig and it was the first time i was using it. I rented a film camera from the camera shop at Captain Don's for 2 or 3 dives during the previous trips, so I don't have a lot of experience. I have taken quite a few land pics, and took some classes may years ago in high school.

i don't use any filtering programs or heavy retouching when editing the photos as some people seem to do, just simple adjustments to the RAW files. There so many pictures out there that are edited so much that they are "too" good and look fake.

Very nice Greg, the only advice I could give is to try to get closer.

Cecil, with the lens I have I can't get as close as I'd like.

the last two pics were especially difficult. The auto focus had A LOT of trouble with both of them and I had a memory lapse on how to override the focus zone. I guess that's what happens when you don't know all of your cameras functions that well. It's a steep learing curve.
