I am not new to Bonaire but I am wondering if I brought the european electrical plug if they would work better at charging my batteries (safer too) than using the our type plugs. I always hold my breath that I have a fresh set in my camera and strobe. Has anyone done this, I know charging my laptop is next to impossible so that makes me wonder about the chargers doing their job.

Thanks Brian, I saw a charger from Thomas Distributing called MAHA - MH-C204W Smart World Travel Conditioning Battery Charger, universal 100~240V 50/60 Hz capable power supply built in. Is that what you mean?

That sounds like the one, I am in the UK but looking at the website it looks ideal. I can't remember if Bonaire has round or slot connectors (probably both) so a round two pin power lead may be a help. I sure someone will confirm which is most common.

The European outlets are typically 220-250V/50Hz, and the American style are typically 125-130V/50Hz.
