Once again it didn't work. This time all pics was well under 50k, named right and in jpeg format.

I don't know why this keeps happening, but you just missed some nice shots from the Pier...

Ok, I try one more time with on pict per posting.

I have lots of patience with my motives and my student when I dive, but with computers it is worse...

Henrik,

Once again brilliant photos.

Re. trouble posting your pics, I think there is also a time limit of 2 minutes as well as the 50k size limit. Perhaps some one could clarify this.

Please keep them coming.

Best regards
Dave

David you are correct in saying that there is a two minute time limit.. and a 50 kb limit as well, however I believe that Henrik had one rouge photo that was the wrong size even though it said it was 50kb or under and because of that the software would not allow him to post any of the photos that's why I suggested that he post the photos one by one.. I don't know why this happens but it has happened to me a couple of times, so I speak with experience..
Henrik your photos are PERFECT!!! thank you for taking your time to share them with us..

Again, thanks for all the nice words. I have been away diving this weekend, but now I am back to upload some pics. The pics are still from the same trip to Bonaire.

This weekend was not as good as Bonaire - temperature of 44 F and visibility of 10 ft. Normal conditions here in Sweden...

Once again they are terific. Buddy's is a nice reef, but we like them all, different reefs, different opertunities.

Henrik,
Great shots! How are you getting so close to the fish? Are you using a re-breather or just holding your breath for an hour? Fantastic!

Ha! I was thinking almost the same thing: How does he get those fish to stay so still? I just got back from Bonaire and I can say this - none of them posed so nicely for me! :-) :-) :-)

In my wonder about Henrik's fish hypnosis abilities, I forgot to say: Beautiful photos!

No magic, no hypnosis and no rebreather. It's very simple - I am the most boring dive buddy ever. A typical photo dive at Buddys, Oil Slick or Karpata for me is 60 to 80 minutes at a max depth at 20 ft. Often I stay where I still can see the mooring. Ok, I have one secret help - my Buddy. She's as patient as I am boring.

At my most extreme dives, I go alone. My best shots ever is of a jawfish I found between the pier and mooring at Buddys. I spent almost an hour at the exact same spot with two small and shy fishes. After 40 minutes they finally let me come close enough to take the pics I wanted.

Henrik,
You describe what I'd love to do (at least a few times) - unfortunately my buddy always wants to "move along". :-) I saw a jawfish this last trip just before he ducked back in his hole and I dearly wanted to just hang there and wait for him to come back out. I stayed for a couple of minutes but he outwaited me... :-)

Henrik...have you tried to contact the Fish ID books/publications for publishing your pics in their books??? Your pics would be excellent inside the fish ID books for all to see and discover.

I really think you should reach out to the Paul Humann "Reef Fish Identification" book people to see if they would be interested in publishing your photos....your pics are sooo clear and crisp and "in your face" and would be excellent for people to refer to for identification purposes.

The enlarged 2nd edition is published by New World Publications, Inc, 12861 Cornell Road, Dept. P, Jacksonville, Florida USA 32207 (904) 737-6558 is their phone number.

I think you should contact them right away! Anyone else agree with me??? Carole
