I can't figure out how to post a picture...
This board seems to use different commands than I am used to. I have the pics hosted on my own website already...

Greg save the photos to your computer as .Jpegs
they have to be smaller than 50mb's to post here use this formula "\image {your picture}" without the quote marks or the space.. you will be taken to a screen that asks you to upload your photo..
if you don't understand this go to the bottom of this page and click on formating.. EVERYTHING you always wanted to know about posting is in that section.. good luck

Or you could just host it on your own server and use an IMG SRC tag to pull it in on this site.

Just depends on if you want the bandwidth responsibility or push that to BT.

Greg you are doing too much writing... save a photo tp your desktop.. do the formatting trick.. \ is the slash... use the squiggly brackets ,so far it looks like this \image {,
you don't have to put anything inside the brackets at least nothing special I usually just type a letter and then I close the bracket }remember no spaces..
I hit post message and then it takes me to another screen where it will ask you to upload you photo browse to your desktop and retrieve the photo. hit upload and see what happens.. if the picture is too big you will get a black box in the space that means you are almost there... keep trying.. P couldn't find the sunset photo

\image{any old description but not the address}

Once you get to preview your message before the final post, your message will have a black box in it saying "your image here". If you don't get this space holder you didn't do the code right.

any old description but not the address

So you hit the post button which takes you to another screen where you are asked for the location and filename. If you mess up the upload, your message ends up with just the black box and not your picture.

That one is the aftermath of Hurricane Floyd a few years back. We were down for the Lauderdale by the Sea Scuba Fest and got evacuated from the East coast. Luckily we have friends in Naples. This one is an oil I did for them.oil

Thank you Freddie, Before I got into video I was doing much more. I did a lot of underwater stuff from my stills. You take a photo, have it developed and that's it, but now I spend so much time editing, which is a great enjoyment in itself, there's no spare time to pick up a brush.

My dad lives in Naples, and has taken me there a few times. Very pretty, and lots of pelicans!

Beautiful painting, Gary. Multi-talented fella, too! Your profile pic at Gibi's is terrific. You both look VERY happy and relaxed...that's what Bonaire and good company does for everyone. It's the best prescription there is for whatever ails 'ya. Carole

PS Here is one of my favorite things to see on Bonaire...the Goat Parade! The only bad thing about this little parade was that one of the goats (the light brown/blonde one towards the right side) had a huge piece of cactus stuck to its poor little head. We wanted to jump out of the truck to help the poor little thing out, but we knew that would never work. I hope he/she was able to remove it somehow without additional harm. Poor little thing!goats

Carole, Thank you on both counts and we were very happy and relaxed. I agree, the goats were really cool up in the park and I completely forgot to mention them. I was surprised you don't see them running around with the donkeys farther south. I never saw that many at once though, looks like you hit the motherload. I'm not surprised about the cactus after watching the way they run through the brush.

I got a lot of photos at that pier. These 2 were extremely friendly as was this egritpete. I do all of my painting from pics that I take but I'll bet I could have done him live. He was still there the next morning as if he had never moved. A local told me his name(the bird) was Pete and that he's always right there. Of course the shack in the background is the bait and tackle shop.

I used to love to swim with the many, many pelicans at Arashi Beach in Aruba at sunset each nite. They were so much fun to watch and soooo entertaining when they sighted some chow in the water. I wonder why there aren't as many on Bonaire? They are just so entertaining! They were not afraid to come right up to you in the water, either. Maybe we can convince some of the pelicans to relocate from Aruba to Bonaire! LOL. I know there are a few near the fisherman's boats on the waterfront, but not as many as we have seen in Aruba. Carole

Here's a peacock hanging around at the Holiday Inn in Montego Bay, Jamaica. We were "stuck" there overnight in 2003 during an Air Jamaica plane problem. Just missed him with his colors being displayed! Joe had never used this camera before and just missed it. Oh well! LOL. cbpeacock

Did the peacock wake you in the morning. Our daughter lives in Cape Canaveral and the peacocks walk around early morning there screaching. It's worse than a rooster.

No, this fella was on the other side of the grounds. I recall my first "experience" hearing a peacock...it was in the hills of Northern California (Central?) in Ben Lomand....I heard shrilling screams in the middle of the night and thought someone was being slautered/murdered only to find out it was the many peacocks on the property..;.they act as watch dogs and security dogs! LOL. When I used to visit friends in North San Diego County (Ramona hills) I would "talk" to the peacocks across the way...over the hills and valleys....braaaaaack....braaaaaaack!! Folks thought I was nuts but we were "communiticating"! LOL. They are, indeed, interesting creatures.. Didn't know they liked the warmer climates, too, tho! Carole

Carole-yes, that is my car in the photo above, however the sound bite on my website is from another car which has an V-8 engine.
My car is MUCH more powerful than the one in the sound bite! It also has a V-8.
Magnum HP Inc. is my business, I sell custom and performance parts for Plymouth, Dodge and Chrysler muscle cars.

Gary, yup! It was fun to watch them just sitting on the rails, keeping one eye on the water and the other eye on the humans.
