Sorry to the regulars for going in streaks of being active and then fading away, but life and work seem to get in the way from my web surfing.

I spent two weeks at Bruce Bowker's Carib Inn last September and took a digital camera with me on every dive. I was also doing the research for an article on strobes for digital cameras.

Here's a web album of my best shots:

Here's the article I wrote on strobes in PDF format:

Hope you enjoy both.

Jeff, your work continues to blow me away each time I look at it....absolutely fabulous results! What an experiment that must have been, eh?! I, too, will now go back to the article, just as Niki is doing.

In the meantime I have just sent your site/link off to all of my diver buddies so they can enjoy the show, too.

Thanks again for letting us enjoy your shots. Carole

What Jeff failed to mention was that in his "spare time" he and Richard Perry run the most popular, up to date web site specifically dedicated to underwater digital photography on the internet.

If you haven't had a chance to visit digitaldiver yet, here's a direct link to the main forum page:

Jeff,

You keep raising the bar!

I had the time to look at your photos, beautiful! The seahorse pics are my favourite!

I had a few folks comment on other forums that the images were just a little too big when viewed on a 1024 x 768 monitor. I have scaled them down a bit, which should also help folks who are on dial-up connections.

If you have a big monitor and a fast connection, I did a duplicate with 800 x 600 images for some wide screen eye candy.

Great article Jeff, is there a way to get a print copy of your article on strobes.
Thanks
