I will be making my first trip to Bonaire on July 11th. I am staying at the Plaza, rented the four wheeler from ABC Rental, and because of this website I have enough ideas about where to eat and dive to spend a couple of weeks. I just want to thank each of you who write in your experiences, great ideas and tips and your very cool pictures. Of course, I cannot wait to be there.If any of you have any "must do's" for a first timer, please let me know.

John, a must do is go to "everything else" on the topics tree and I will add you to the list of folks that will be there in July...every Tuesday night BTalkers meet at Gibis for a nice dinner to meet new friends...as far as "must do's"...relax, drive around the island...have a great vacation...and don't forget your trip report....oh, and thank Linda and Jake for making Bonaire Talk happen!

John, marking time till you go is what we ALL do! Then you will have PBD (post bonaire depression) when you return...and you will be planning your next trip before you get on the plane to go home!

john let me start by saying bonaire is a great place we got back sunday 6/22 stayed at buddies great place to stay. If your getting rental from abc watch out make sure the spare tire is locked and that the jack works.We had our spare tire stolen while doing night dive at oil slick when we told abc rentals they said we were responsible for replacing it $260.00 even though we bought added insurance.well to end on positive note buddies called the rental place and at least saved us $60.00 dollars. needles to say could have done without that problem but other than that the diving was great and I will definately return.have a wonderful trip
