We just returned from spending 2 weeks at Eden Beach where we used the services of WannaDive, a relatively new dive operation. The Eden Beach resort is one of a few sites that air condition the total apartment, not just the bedrooms. We decided to try Eden this trip because continual heat adversly affects my wife. Also, I loooove air conditioning. We were quite satisfied with our acommodations and will stay here on our next trip. The rates are reasonable, the apartment is clean with daily maid service and the on-site dive operation is first rate.

WannaDive is operated and owned by Bart Snelder and Roland "Bob" Labots who we first met when they ran Buddy Dive's dive shop. We liked diving with them at Buddy Dive and were even more pleased with their new operation. In addition to the Eden Beach operation they maintain a similar operation at Hamlet Oasis. Both sites give you continous access to an unlimited supply of air via drive-up and drivr-thru facilities. In addition, they are a gold mine for information on the best dive sites. They consistently sent us to the best sites. This year we had decided to do mainly shore dives. Last year it was mainly boat diving. The three divers in our family all agreed that shore diving is the way to go. Most sites have easy access, you keep your own schedule and it is CHEAPER. I don't believe there can be a better dive center for shore diving on Bonaire than WannaDive.
