Thanks again to all of the staff at Toucan - Plaza Resort! Especially Jackson for all his help (one day I'll spot a sea horse on my own!)

The RED threw me. Looking closer it looks like the color enhancement programming just bled.

Guess that I am so used to seeing Blue, Queen and Princess parrot fish. None of the stoplights that I have seen were this red most just had a small amount on their belly like this one. Breeding season, different variety, different sex? http://technopics.com/tdyes/cayman2000web/images/stoplight_parrotfish.jpg

Oh, Jeff on the spotting, if you spotted any of the octopi by yourself you deserve an "eagle eye" medal. I had a difficult time seeing them in the pictures. There are so many fish that I have looked right at and then they move and I go "Was that there all the time?". What is even better is when you take a picture and in the process of reviewing and touchup you go "LOOK WHAT I GOT A PICTURE OF!"

Did some more reading and the females have the red belly. So we're looking at a juvi female?

Thx for the comments, PA14061182532 is jenny. agreed- would make a good profile pic.

Yeah, the color on PA14061182527 was a bit wacky. No enhancements (other than some cropping) were done on the pics, some just came out blurred due to the inexperienced photographers.. :)

I can't remember what type of camera my dad has, but it's a pretty basic 35mm. The octopus shots did not come out very well at all unfortunately... hey, i guess that's what macro lens are for. I was too close and they came out blurry. Also, the one from town pier is just too difficult to see but I threw it in there..

anyway, just some goofy pics for fun, some of them came out pretty cool. glad to share them.

Jeff B.

ahh yes.. PBD ... I forgot how long it lasts!
