We're headed back to Bonaire for the 18th time since 1976 (we missed a few years but not many)and I'm beginning to get psyched. In those 26 years I've dived most of the named sites so this trip I'm looking for suggestions for out of the way or little known sites to try.

Actually, 18 times pales in comparison to others I know about but I've had the good fortune to be able to travel on diving trips to many places around the world and Bonaire is the one place I always return to.

Bonaire Tourism gives out "Medals" For the number of years you have returned to Bonaire. I think the first "Medal" is Bronze for 10 years.

Nice shot, Larry. Great to see new life on the corals, too. Have a wonderful time and take lots more pictures to share with us, OK? Time to move to Bonaire, maybe??? I'd go in a heartbeat if I could swing it right now. Carole

Wonderful photo Larry, would you share with us what camera you use?

That photo was taken with a Nikonos V, 15mm lens, Ikelite Substrobe 150 and Ektachrome VS. I used a technique that I often use in very shallow water - I pointed the strobe at the surface to bounce the light onto the subject.

Wish I could return the favor, but I don’t think I could share anything you haven’t seen already. Thanks much for the information, I love shots where you can see the surface, it give such great perspective.
