I'm a couple of months late in getting these pictures posted for you. My wife wanted to clean them up and make some comments.

Overall had a great 8 day trip to Bonaire. For some reason, while we were diving we were not that impressed but when we came back and looked at all the pictures, we realized we saw a lot. We're used to diving in Asia so I guess we missed seeing a lot of things like clown fish, lion fish and the abundance of soft coral. The visibility was not as good as we expected, around 30 feet. Still every dive we saw something new and I'll never forget the town pier as it was my first night dive.

Here are some of our pictures. It's our first time to use the camera underwater so they're not as good as some of the other pictures people have posted.

Thanks everyone for posting all the useful info on the board. It was very helpful.

Peter,
The pictures were very good. Sorry the viz was so poor, we went in August for the first time and the viz was around 80'and over heard people saying that it was not as good as they remembered. It was great to us. We also stayed at the Divi Room 209.

Peter,
Thanks for the slide show, we were there a week before you but stayed at Buddy Dive. You had some nice pictures, especially your changing peacock flounder. Asia sounds like an exciting place to dive, maybe one day we'll get there. We are hooked on Bonaire for now.

Peter, I think you have some wonderful pictures, and I like the sense of humor evident in some of the captions. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Ginny. Those are actually my wife's comments and I think they're pretty funny too.

Hi,

Wonderful pictures. Thanks so much for posting
them. Fish id is a new passion. I am a new diver and new at fish id, so your pictures are of interst.

I have recently taken beginer and intermediate fish id with Linda Baker at the Carib Inn. She does a great job, learned lots. I am not sure
but I think a few of the fish are mis-labeled.
Would appreciate feedback from others.

dive 3 - juv damsel ( the bright blue bet coral)
dive 9 spotted drum
dive 13 is not a clown but an ocean or a pale tang
dive 14 is not a grasby but a rock hind ( though maybe a red hind, but agreed it is a sea bass)

Comments from others? Lydia
