I am still going through my 30 Gb of pictures and videos, but I was able to find some of my favorites. For some videos you can see them here http://www.vimeo.com/2411264 .
Here are my 3 favorite pictures;
The octopus we came across at Front Porch. After exploring the tug for a while we started heading a little shallower and off in the distance we saw this "blob" on the bottom. Upon further exploration we saw this guy
my picture

As I said in my report we had many encounters with squid this trip, and I finally learned how to get close, let them come to me, and this was the closest i have ever been, and it was awesome looking into their eyes
my picture

And then, up until this trip my picture I was most proud of was of a Splendid Toadfish in Cozumal, but this one is as good if not better. Lets just say they both are now my favorites. It is of the orange Frogfish at Bari
my picture
I hope someone enjoys my pics and videos as much as I enjoy so many on here, and I hope to get more uploaded in the future.

Thanks Pegi Sue... I can't tell you how excited I was when I saw the octopus. I don't normally "chase" the fish, but this one I had to follow, and he was more concerned with the fish harassing him than with me. AND you watched "the skit", wow. I put that on for family but I guess others are bound to watch it, curiosity and all. And let it be known I meant no offense to hat wearin and/or long haired and/or hippie folk, it is just what it said a boring saturday with halloween stuff about to be put away. :-)

Thanks Dan, We started scuba diving about 4 years ago. On our first trip we borrowed an underwater film camera. Then we bought a digital camera and discovered we could buy an uw case for it. It took nice pics and at the time we thought the videos were nice. Then we upgraded to a new digital and my wife uses the old one. Now the videos with this one make the old ones look horrible. Now I take more videos than I do pics, but this trip I tried to do more pics with flash. I imagine it won't be long before I start looking into something with better video.

HE HE HE!!! No one's lookin' at that video!!LOL

This made me break out a video camera that we have had for a long time, still in the box. The battery is charging as we speak. I now need to see if a housing is made for it. I know nothing about video housings:-(

Kobi, I can teach you. I've read it, and I've tried it. Timmmy is the MASTER!!:-)

I'm wondering about the health of that Octo. He looks big and therefore maybe old. The way those fish are poking at him is unusual to see.

I am starting to think that it was a big one, based on what is being said here. Being the first one we ever saw out and about, I thought it was a small one. Maybe that is based on things I saw on tv. Does anyone know what kind it is? I will have to look it up

I think the fish poke at the octopus to see if they can get him to give up his meal. I've seen bar jacks do that with sharp-tailed eels, too.
