I started my trip to Bonaire with being snowed in by a blizzard; our 4WD buried under a drift, the road to the house impassable.

Just picture me, a fine fat fish, pushing a suitcase full of dive gear sandals and swim suits over the top of the freakin' 10 foot drift behind the house.

It wasn't pretty.

Highlights of the trip were enjoying new dive sites and re-visiting old favorites.

Oil Slick
The dive to the right was quite war-torn and damaged due to Omar. The dive to the left was much more as I remembered it from May 08. And, yes, the platform and steps have been replaced.

Be sure to wear your thick-soled booties to walk across to the dive site, though. There isn't any more dirt/sand covering the way in and its got some sharp rock formations.

In looking for the illusive frogfish, I ran across these guys.

Great photos! Sorry to hear that to the right there is a lot of damage. I tend to go right more than left there.
