Short trip report – Mid vacation:

Flight: Continental Red Eye from Newark last Sunday, returning next Sunday. It will be a long time before we take any red-eye flight again; just can’t sleep on an airplane.

Accommodation: We own a one bedroom unit at Bonaire Seaside Apartments. I will say no more :-)

Car Rental: four door pickup from Total Car Rental; 4 door pickup; vehicle has 66,000 KM, so it is getting tired, and this unit is suppose to be the second best class of truck from Total based on the rental rate. Might be looking elsewhere next February.

Diving: We have used Yellow Submarine for a number of years and love them there. So far we have done 2 shore dives and 2 boat dives to Northern sites. As you can see we are not avid divers, but like to relax a little while on vacation.

Beautiful shots, Gord! What set up were you using to take these?

We love the red eye out of EWR.....mainly because it is out of Newark! LOL. (we live in NJ) We take a nap after hitting the water and watching the sun rise.

Must be nice to visit so often...lucky dog!

We'd love to hear and see more if you get a chance to share more of your fun with us before you have to depart Heaven! cb

It is actually raining today, so we didn't dive. I will post some additional pictures later in the week. If you can't wait and want to see more of our previous Bonaire Vacations you can visit: http://gordalder.blogspot.com/

The rig I used for all of these shots was a Canon Digital Rebel XT in an Ikelite housing with a single flash. I was using a flat port with the 60mm macro lens.

As far as the Red-Eye goes, I love the fact that it is two hops for us, and only one airline. It killed the Sunday for us, as we didn't get any sleep on the plane.

The one duplicate shot was suppose to be a shot of a Trumpet fish

The weather this week has not been very good, so we only got a couple more dives in, but I do have a few more shots:
