Well kiddos, we're here. It took 4 hrs to fly and 3 and half to sit on the runway in Caracas while I channeled Karl Rove and Hugo Chavez.....it's a long story but needless to say we weren't supposed to go to caracas.

Got checked in, checked out dove (a widdle one just off Yellow Submarine) and lunch at It Rains Fishes. Off in minute to Bobbejeans. Raining a bit now, cloudy (ish) this afternoon, but it's all good. Got Mitch (michael) gaynor his wasabi delivered and made the annual pilgrimage to Cultimara. Right now I'm burning CD's to listen to in the rental car. If anybody on island hears somewhat bizarre Eastern European reggae (an album called "far away from jamaica" with muchos eastern european reggaesters) it wasn't me.

More to come tomorrow....got internet in the house.

Ciao chillins....be good....I might be watching

cheeseter

Cheese, I just heard from a friend on the island, you are being blamed for the wind and rain storm tonight. Ya might want to wear dark glasses tomorrow so people won't recognize you.

Glad ya made it - FINALLY!!!

Oh, so it was YOU??? We sat in the terminal waiting for the plane while your plane buzzed the airport and passed us up for your little trip to Caracas and back. We almost missed all the connecting flights home, except for the phenomenal Continental airlines folks in Houston.

I didn't bring any Brights home. Once our dive buddies discovered we had beer, we suddenly had lots of visitors!

Hey Joe - I'm on the same flight from Houston in 2 weeks. I'm wondering what happened with the unplanned pitstop in Caracas? And happy rain-diving, by the way!
