Great pics, thanks for sharing. One picture makes my wife a bit sad. She really liked this Suzuki for some reason. lol We took this picture in March 08.

I guess I'm too "challenged" to post pics in this forum. [/pout face]

Aaron:
That is unbelievable; what a coincidence that you drove this car, read this post, I went to the dump, took a pic and posted it on BT!!

Bob,

We never actually drove that car. It was parked downtown when we were doing some shopping. My wife thought it was cute, I guess like a dirty stray dog or something.

It certainly has sad puppy dog eyes now. lol

Yea
When I saw Bob's picture I thought "I've seen that car around Bonaire". Of course I had no recollection of where or when, just the pattern on the door. Maybe someone will come up with it;s story.
Bob your post has made me look into the exchange program. You certainly have a beautiful home in Bilthoven. Have fun in Paris.
Mick

Hey Christian,
I noticed that you are u businessman from Kralendijk. What's your business if I may ask?

Mickey: I like your profile pic . You enjoy life.

Bill: interesting website and books!!

Thanks for the nice words about the pictures. My family is on them so much, because they are the reason I enjoy my holidays. These are the moments I want to capture.

Home exchange creates lasting friendships too.
This summer we hosted 3 girls, two of which were daughters of friends we met during a home exchange in California.

Yesterday I received an email from a home exchange friend to have me read a preliminary copy of an ebook he wrote on home exchange.
And today I received a email from South Africa describing the wonderful memories they had of the exchange of last year.

Although we did not exchange; through this website we first digitally meet Bob and Barbara Gilmour from Bonaire. They were able to visit us this summer in The Netherlands. We returned the visit a couple of weeks ago on Bonaire, dove together and were treated on a fantastic lunch.

Bob, fantastic pictures, I had a smile on my face looking at each one. You have such a beautiful family, I can see how you were a bit "worried" with the girls going to Karel's at night...lol! I really enjoyed the pics. I love the one of the iguana getting ready to catch the food....just fantastic!

The pics of Lagoen Bay, amazing...I wish more people cared about their trash and what they do with it...

The dump...I've been there, and uh...decided I never wanted to eat goat again....lol...

Last trip we also noted the "skid" marks on the way to Lac Bay...me thinks there's some drag racing going on there...haha...

You obviously cherish each moment with your family, and love them with all your heart, it shows in the pictures.
