It is quite dry and lots of wind. Still a few around at sunset/sunrise.

We were there two weeks ago and we noticed a few mosquitos. We used Off spray and wipes, so the bugs did not cause a huge problem. Enjoy your trip.

Hi, Eric,

The only time you might need some help against the skeeters or no-see-ums would be dusk and dawn. I used Avon skin-so-soft and another Avon wipe and it worked just fine.

Not a real issue at this time of the year, however, as there is hardly any rain now.

Have a great time!! cb

Haha...Carole, RJ, Michael, you guys just must not be sweet...lol (of course, I am joking). The worst I ever got eaten alive was july 03. I arrived on July 2, and by July 4, I looked like I had the chickenpox. I was lulled into a false sense of security from a previous trip in September, where I didn't use repellant much and didn't get bit.

Soooo...I'd say use it regardless of time of day if you tend to get bitten and the skeeters and no seeums like you:-)

Poor planning guys and girls. I ask Tribs to feed all my skeeters. She did a good job, I didn't get a bite! LOL Skip
(May be because we were with RJ. Being a good dive buddy, he took all the bites)

Well I'm still feeding them! LOL! I provided a meal to one at Waddaburger today. I guess he couldn't get his lunch fast enough. Then tonight at Bongos I fed a bunch of them!!!! Bette actually said, "stop scratching we are leaving!" I had Deep Woods Off on. I guess it is just who you are. :-)

Remember Eric.. it's only the females that bite (tongue in cheek).
