Hi, everyone! I will share some photos with you from our latest trip to heave...Bonaire, of course! Have been on so many trips that I'm taking "only" 250 photos, or so! LOL.

Hope you enjoy them. I certainly loved taking them. Ayo. Carole

Well, not laid out as I would like but you get the idea! Here are a few more to enjoy. Carole

Believe it or not, the shot at Gotomeer Lake with the shrub brush and cactus actually has a trupial sitting on top of the cactus but it's hard to see him in this smaller re-sized shot. Oh well. He was gorgeous! cb

Joe and I enjoyed having coffee and chocolate cake (made by Annettte at the Last Bite) while Joe smoked a nice cigar. Sat outside and it was just wonderful. Nice, nice folks running the place and we enjoyed the music (jazz) as well. Even heard "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue" pop on while we were there and that is one of my all time favorite tunes! cb

Has anyone else noticed that the conch shell piles are MUCH smaller/lower this year?? Is it true that some of the locals are selling them to tourists who come on the ships?? Just curious. The piles are definitely not as "tall" as they used to be. Carole

Thanks, guys...I'll post more later once I return home from work today. (Risk Management for me, Vince...same line of "duty", eh?!)

I love topside on Bonaire....can't get enough of it when we visit. The water is outrageous but we love exploring the land and skies, as well.

Have a wonderful day and see you later...Ayo. Carole

Awww...here's one for the road...some of my favorite "subjects" on Bonaire...her many fascinating trees...tree

Carole, these are great! I like the topside photos too. I always take so many, maybe that's what I'll paint next! I do like the one with all of the different fish tho...Very colorful!:-)

Carole, I love the bait fish in front of and beneath the pier at Divi. It was amazing to watch them part as you swim through them.

Good evening, everyone! I'm suffering some serious PBD while resizing the photos to post! LOL. Checked out airfare for Christmas week....had to laugh out loud! LOL. Yeehaa....how about $1600. pp in Coach from Newark/EWR to Bonaire via CON!! Don't think so! A bit expensive for one week...have to work on some other possibilities to get back to Bonaire before next May 2009, tho.

Here you go...enjoy! Carole

Whew! I'm exhausted just from "resizing"! LOL. I'll check out some more later on this evening or tomorrow, kids.

Cynde...no shots of me in "my" camera. I"ll check with Lorraine to see if she has anything I will "approve" for BT! LOL. I was down by 112 pounds when we hit Bonaire. I think I put a few back "on" since we are home again. Not as active as we were on island...work gets in the way of my exercising! LOL. Ayo. Carole

PS Pegi Sue..if you need some inspiration for a new piece, let me know! I now have both of your works back from the framer and will take some pics asap. I want to paint the walls to really make them "pop" out tho....still have the white walls everywhere from when we moved in here two years ago. Painting is the last thing for me....decorated everything first. I know, I know...supposed to do it the "other" way around but....

Hi, Cyn! Well, I just broke down and asked Joe to take a couple of pics of me with Pegi Sue's paintings...of course "I" don't like them and I'm not smiling like a normal person (normal??) but there they are..."Before" and "After"....so far. Surgery was 9-7-07. Takes time to get the job done! LOL. Carole

The "before" shot was taken in Nov 2006 in Sedona, Az at the Grande Adobe Villas. I had NO idea the top I was wearing was see-thru...the horror of it...never would have put that on if I had realized...you can tell "large" folk don't like to look in the full length mirror!! LOL.

Second set of shots is tonite...face ages with the weight loss but the health is soooo much better now. No more diabetes....completely "gone" & no more need for medicaton for it. Yippee!! Carole

Congratulations for beating diabetes. It must feel wonderful to be able to control the quality of your life through all of your hard work. And it is hard work, but keep it up! You and Joe both look great. Happy good health.

Good day, Don!

No, I don't think Joe wants to part with the right or the left one. LOL. Yes, he does have great legs, by the way! Very strong...he does a lot of walking around the poop plant where he works. Great exercise.

A la carte...no shoes on the menu. That's fine, too. Ayo. Carole
