Had a wonderful trip in Bonaire. Eleven days of windsurfing one great trip on the Woodwind. The Woodwind is a really good trip to take if you want to learn about what you are looking at snorkeling. Be prepared for a lot of swimming. Will do this again next year. We saw lots of small turtles this year. We snorkeled Margate Bay to the south and found groups of the big super male parrotfish. We saw at least two midnight ones and 6 or 7 of the bright blue ones all together. Being dry, the bugs were not to bad and we were bothered mainly while dinning out.
The local people are so friendly. AB car rental worked out very well. Our apartment at the Bel Air was very good and on the water. Our only problems were with Air Jamaica and that report is under Getting to Bonaire. We love Bonaire and are already planning for next year.
