I have been waiting for this day for a long time. Being an educator this year was especially difficult. The events of 9-11 not only shook us up as teachers, but definately made a mark on a lot of kids as well. Coming to Bonaire, this time, is really taking on a lot more signifigance in the R&R department. Anyway, two weeks ago I took my BC and regulator into the local dive shop to get serviced. The kids in my school got me a gift certificate to this dive shop, which they gave me on the last day of classes. Many of the notes had to do with 9-11, and helping them get through it. Needless to say, I was blown away. So, guess who's coming to Bonaire with new flippers, a new wet suit, and all new serviced stuff? Thank you all for listening to this ramble. That's what happens to me when the excitement and anticipation of going to Bonaire becomes the day to leave.

James, I'm envious! You're done! I have final exams tomorrow, then I have to correct them (33 tests X 15 pages)! Thank goodness, lots of multiple choice. And it's such gorgeous beach weather here right now. Hazel, before you ask, it's high school Spanish, which makes it hopi facil papia papiamentu!
