We loved our first trip to Bonaire. (note we use the word first) The shore diving allowed us to dive at our own pace and do our own thing, that was the best. We even sat on the bottom ~ 40 ft for about 15 minutes and let the ocean pass us by.

Before going to Bonaire we checked out this area of the net and rather enjoyed it, and still do. We submit a bunch of pictures here for anyone thinking of travelling here. We have seen some mighty fine pictures on these pages. We used a Bonica Camera - this was our first attempt at U/W photography, but like sex you don't have to be good at it to enjoy it.

The thing that most impressed us was that sea life is rich in life of ALL ages. Infants to grandpas

This anenome looked rather well perched - location, location, I guess

Enjoyed the pics. Can't wait until June 26 then it's my turn. No way I can duplicate your efforts. I won't even try. My 8 year old daughter wants to take pictures. We'll she what she gets.

Great job,

Pat

Nicely done, Coleen and Ted! Great shots...I can't believe the size of the lobster...it is almost an arm's lenght! He/she was lucky you respected the "rules" and left her/him there....there's no way you talked him/her into going for a little ride in the car, is there? LOL. We are ready for more pics, of course! Thanks again...don't you just love the night diving at the Divi dock??? There is just sooo much to see right there at the Divi. We love it there. Carole (Shutterbug)

I love the way you made reference to your "first" trip to Bonaire....you are now officially hooked! Bonaire Addicts....PBD sets in quickly, too. (Post Bonaire Depression syndrome). Carole

OK we're not guilty as far as eating the lobster is concerned. We really believe in the look and don't touch at least when we're underwater. Being from the Canadian praries there has never been a strong appetite for fish food - by the time we get seafood it is not too fresh. We sure had our fill of Wahoo in Bonaire. Not sure what they look like but we figured that when the fisherman cataches any fish he just yells out Wahoo! and that is the catch of the day. LOL

Thanks for the kind words on the pics everyone, much appreciated. The PBD is very bad, I really need a dive!
