OK, I said I took a lot of pictures! I will admit that this set for the most part rounds out better ones. I am very unhappy with the quality of the sailfin blenney below, but they are not very cooperative (Actually, I believe my camera is limiting here with the shutter delay, and difficult manual focus capability)! I am including it here because it shows their interesting behaviour. I have also included another shot of the decorator crab in which you can see the complete anemones and another octopus with dramatically different coloring (I nicknamed him Casper)

This is a shot of an active cleaning station:

You know, I think Habitat has an annual photo contest you can enter to win a trip to Bonaire. I don't know the specifics but I think you should enter. You would stand a good chance of winning!

The first pic of the purple tube sponge looks like it was shot in a studio. The lighting is phenomenal!

Casper, the white octo, is good but I like the other octopus pic better. The other one shows its arms spread out.

I also like the bright orange elephant ear sponge, along with the other coral pics, but I picked my favs which is half of what you have above.

The pics are absolutely brilliant. Never saw better ones. I agree with Greta, that should enter them in the photo contest.
I love the close-up of the trunkfish. Looks like he's wearing sunglasses.
Thanks for sharing.

Dennis, wow! Super stuff! You're going to be competing with Henrik in no time for the best BT photo guru.

I'd have to go with "Cleaning station", and the purple tube sponge as the best from above. But, all were pretty darned groovy! I really dug "Casper", even though I doubt many people would know what they were looking at. But for some who've been searching out octopi to show their customers for decades, Casper is very cool.

Should we start planning a book series for "Best of BT photography" showcasing you, Henrik and a few others?
