Thanks for the pics Eileen, we used our last (no dive) day to tour the park...it was soooo big that we didn't have time to do everything we wanted to in the 4 hours we had! I recommend a tour there for everyone as well! :-)

These are wonderful photos, Eileen! Thanks for sharing them with us.

We love to spend at least two different days exploring and enjoying the Park. Everyone who visits Bonaire should find the time to set aside one day to go up there for diving, snorkeling, picnics, bird watching, lizard feeding (not supposed to feed them, tho), donkey watching and so much more. It is such a magical place to be.

Thanks again for sharing your pics with us...they are terrific! Ayo. Carole

Great shots Eileen.
Been there many times but always fun to see something again.

Babs and Carole, we used our last non-dive day to tour the park as well and didn't realize ahead of time that it was SO BIG either! By the time we got to Wayaka II, we only had about an hour to snorkle because we had made so many stops along the way! It was a mad drive in our little egg (Daewoo Minivan!) to make it back to the front gate before closing! We knew a truck would have been a LOT better, but we wanted to see the park, so we went anyway! I only saw one set of divers the whole time, but I did see several places we'd like to go back and dive this summer, such as Wayaka II, Playa Funghi, and Boca Slagbaai.

Eileen, Can you believe that in all the nine years I have been going to Bonaire that I have never gone through the whole park? Was good to see all your photos and I just told my hubby that this year we will have to make a point of going.
