Hello All,

Our third trip to divers paradise was the best one yet. My wife, my 17 year old son, and his girlfriend followed me to Bonaire.
Flew AJ from Atlanta with no problems except a little late coming back (it always is late from Montego Bay to Atlanta).
Stayed at Divi in a studio timeshare this time
and enjoyed the kitchenette. Last year, we had an oceanfront. The dive shop(Divi Dive) was great, and very convenient. The new tank bldg. out front is very nice also.
We ate breakfast and lunch most days in the room, but ate at Lost Penguin and Chibi Chibi a couple times and the food was very good.( especially eggs benedict at the Penguin) We also patronized some others but my favs were De Tuin and Lost Penguin. I'm a little surprized to not see De Tuin ever mentioned on this board as we all really liked the fresh Dorado.
I wont go into all the divesites because all of you are very familar them ,but will say that Karpata, Salt Pier and Red Slave are my favs, although we had to abort a dive at Red Slave this year because of a very strong southward current.
It was really whipping past and I didn't want to go to South America. We really enjoy the layed back shore diving on your own schedule thing and I don't know anywhere else in the world that is like Bonaire, especially for a family.
Also, had no problem with theft of any kind, but we don't leave anything in the truck of value and always leave it unlocked w/windows down.
Til next year
Dave Ramsey

Thansks folks

Angela: I use an Olympus D-380 Digital that I got several years ago for land pics and this year found an Ikelite housing that cost more than the camera. I'm not that much into photography, but do like keepsake pics. It serves my purpose well.

Debbie: Yes, I really like the spotted drums. My 17 year old son found those three together at Invisibles out on the seaward side of the second reef.
