Here is a link to a 9.2 MB EXE slideshow file I created with Pictures-2-Exe.

If you want to see the slideshow (complete with music) please follow these instructions :

(1) RIGHT CLICK on this link :
RIGHT CLICK HERE PLEASE

Please, do not try to run the slideshow from the web-server, my ISP is understanding, but not without limits.

(2) Select "SAVE TARGET AS" or "SAVE FILE AS"

(3) Save the file to your desktop or a directory of your choice
-- the file was virus scanned with Norton Anti-Virus, but prudent computing practices suggest you scan any EXE files before opening --

(4) Click on the Bonaire v2.exe icon, turn your speakers up a little bit, and enjoy.

Thanks for looking all....

Craig

Craig,

Oh My Goodness - that did NOT help my PBD at all!

But your photos are incredible. I've watched it twice already and I can't wait to watch it again and show it to my husband.

You did an outstanding job with the presentation and music. Thank you so very much for sharing with all of us!

Belinda

Craig, what a show! Absolutely fabulous. You have captured a lot of the flavor of Bonaire in your slide show. I will be certain to pass it along to my diver friends who have not yet experienced Bonaire...this just might be the last "push" they need to get the reservations going! Thanks again for letting us in on your fun. Carole

Craig,
What a treat! I've got your show on my desktop at work to remind me what working is for-to pay for diving.
What UW camera do you use? Your shots are wonderful.
Kathy

Lee,

I'm using a Olympus 5050z in an Olympus PT015 housing. No external strobe, lenses, or filters.

I do admit to doing some major color correction with Photo Impact (like Adobe's PhotoShop) to tame the background blue/green saturation.

Ciao for now,
Craig

Craig,

What a wonderful slideshow! I'm so glad I waited the 45 mins for it to download (still in the dark ages of dial up)I can't wait to watch it again, and again! My PBD is torturing me right now, I think it's time to book another trip to paradise.

You've done an amazing job, thank you :-) :-)

By the way...what's the name of that music you've chosen to acompany the show? It's lovely!

Julie

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I found this board such a good resource for planning my first trip to Bonaire that I wanted to share the experience.

Julie...dial up....???? I suppose you still dive with a horse collar BCD and a dual hose regulator on a tank with a J-valve ?? Come to the dark side....cable/DSL calls......

Sorry for the long download, the music adds a couple megs to the file size. I could have posted it without the music, but I didn't think it had the "tone" I wanted.

About the music :: This particular music is from a band called The Rippingtons, on a CD called Life in the Tropics. The track is called "Caribbean Breeze."

Ciao for now,
Craig

:-) :-) :-) LOL Craig,

thanks for the name of the music, and don't apologise for the download time. It's worth the wait.
I hear the siren song of cable/DSL, but 'till my boss comes up with that much needed raise I'll have to stick with what I've got and save my cash for what's really important.....diving!

Take it easy, Julie

Hey, have you taken this off the net? I FINALLY got to a place with a high speed internet connection so I could download, and I keep getting the message that my browser cannot locate the server. Help!

Larry....

Not off the net. The hosting service is doing some maintenance, and should be back up in a day or two.

Hard to complain about a free hosing service.

Sorry for the headache....!!

Craig

OK, time to show how really computer illiterate I am! Got the slideshow downloaded on my desktop, but it is calling for an application to open it. Can you recommend any common application that might do the job? Obviously, I want to see it badly enough to expose my ignorance to the reading audience. Thanks for any suggestions. I am using a Mac--might that figure in?

Larry....

Not your fault at all. Mine.

Slideshows created with the Pictures2Exe application are not compatible with Mac's.

As a long time and die hard PC user, I forget that Apple still makes computers.

If you burn the file to a CD and get it to a PC you should be able to access the show.

Humble apologies !!

Craig
