Well..home again home again, and finally getting all the gear washed and put away, trading boots for sandels and heavy sweater for swimsuit...ugh ! Our trip this year involved Air JAmacia for the first time, used Delta ff miles for AJ..very easy to go to MoBay instead of 6 hour layover in PR..arrive in Bonaire at 3 pm with all luggage,nice job AJ !

small, clean and contained everything we needed for our stay, including the sweetest family to take care of our fears and questions.Many thanks to Benny and his family, they go beyond the job description and are true hosts. the hammock on the tree shaded patio was my favorite to read and have hummingbirds in my face between dives.
Diving was a challange this year with waves and surge... we are not getting older are we ??? but we managed to get in 31 times..excited to find the batfish at SandDollar and many frogfish this year..even the allusive black one.Spotted Eagle rays and turtles are becoming more frequent.Our night dives found a new eel, the Broadbanded moray Got our air package at SandDollar where they are under some more construction but it was so easy to pick up tanks there everyday.Can't wait to see the finished project
Eating out is always fun in Bonaire, so much diversity..Maikkeys Snack to Harbor View..our fav is Bobby Jeans and Zie Zicht burger..stopping at Cultimara is always fun too, and the fruit stand at the harborside,
Kite surfers down by the fishshack are fun to watch now,and on Saturdays a visit to Rincon , the walking tour with Maria Soldichi Tours was very educational about the earlier days in Rincon and the architecture, she starts the tours at 9 am in the center of the village.Read DiVinci Code while I was sitting in the hammock,did'nt want to put it down, but diving has the stronger pull.wish "they" would'nt have stolen our licence plates from the minivan..otherwise we got away unscathed this year Always good to meet with BT members..the sailboat ride at sunset on Windwood excellent, thanks Chet & Jean..good to see divers and locals from past trips that have become friends..Let me know if you have any questions about staying in Bonaire

What a nice photo!!! So glad you enjoyed being at Bonaire Town Homes. Benny and Ester are so very special, and they've created a wonderful haven on a wonderful island. Perhaps we'll overlap next year. We're looking at Feb through mid-March.
