I looked at what I'd posted for pics and they were kinda small (i'm for sure old enough to be visually impaired), so I thought I'd give it another try resizing my favorites.

Shoot me when I start to bore you with photos

Fabulous stuff, Velvis!!! Keep them coming so we can all drool out here. Glad to see you made it out of the cheese mire...sticky stuff and a bad day to be near piles of melted cheese (SuperBowl Sunday).

What beautiful shots....all of them! Simply beautiful. Thanks for posting these and we will look forward to many more. Carole

PS Whose house is that in the background on the rainbow shot? The huge white double-decker MacMansion??

Joe,

Great stuff! Sorry I missed you at Gibi's. Jake informed me you were there this past tuesday. I thought you left last weekend or I would have gotten motivated to get there. I did a late afternoon dive on Tuesday and Lisa was having some "ear" problems as well as a serious reaction to her bug bites and we couldn't get ourselves to get out on Tues. Please shot me your address and I'll send out the Cheese Fest Tshirt to you. I won't even wash it so it will still smell like Bonaire.

Big Ed

I should be getting the rest of my camera gear in the next day or so. I'm getting excited just looking at your pictures. I can't imagine all the cool things I'll be able snap pictures of both above and below water. Thanks for sharing and fueling the excitement. 43 days and counting....

Ken

Excellent picks....what kind of camera and lense did you use, if you don't mind me asking? I am still researching what type of underwater camera to get. Did you have a special lense for the ones of the birds and flamingo? Thanks for sharing.

Angela

Wife uses Olympus c700 for the birds and flamingo with a doubler lens. The underwater stills were taken with my Sony PC 120 Video Cam in still format. She likes the Oly coz it has a 10x optical lense and still takes the doubler and the sony was about the smallest underwater digital video i could find when i bought it.

I'm sure there's new or better on the market by now, but I like what i got, plus the sony digicam allows me to plug the memory card directly into my sony laptop.
