Another wonderful trip to Bonaire...and for our first time this includes the trip down and back. Took Air Jamaica from Baltimore to Montego Bay and then Bonaire. After seven years of flying with ALM and never getting to Bonaire and/or back home anywhere near our scheduled times/days our first time with Air Jamaica was wonderful. We realize that's not always the case for everyone and that it may indeed be different for us next year but what a wonderful experience to know that it is possible to get to Bonaire in the afternoon! We stay at Carib Inn every year...Bruce, Kitty & Linda feel like family, we always see familiar faces and meet the nicest people. It's the perfect place for us. We miss the Carib Inn "kids" (dogs and cats) as much as we miss the people when we get back home. Ate out every night and always had a great meal. Richard's (twice), Lion's Den, It Rains Fishes, Cappricco's, Pasa Bon (for pizza), Blue Moon, Den Laman, Sand Dollar Terrace (burgers are huge) and Chibi Chibi. The service at It Rains Fishes on a Wednesday night was really awful, but we're hoping we just hit them on a really busy, bad night. Gary is the diver in the family and it was so very nice to get home and see that some of you had caught him on the webcam on Weds morning (11/12). Thanks so much for posting the pictures (Chris, Glenn & Deborah, and Wayne). Gary just did a morning dive everyday and then we went to Pink Beach every afternoon. There is one little sandy spot towards the southern end just big enough for two people if anyone is interested in sunbathing there. We've been the typical lurkers here on this site for a very long time and this just seemed like a good time to say thanks to Jake & Linda for providing this site and hello to the rest of the regular visitors. We love Bonaire as much as the rest of you and will continue to visit as long as we are able to. We've told Bruce that we will have to change our Will so that he'll be notified if something happens to us 'cause that's the only thing that will keep us away next year, and the years after that. Two more members for the PBD group here...Linda & Gary McClave.

Linda and Gary, so nice to hear you had a fabulous trip down and back and "during"! We, too, have great success with Air Jamaica and will continue to use them in the future. Glad you had a great time on Bonaire...time to start planning for your next visit....Carole

Sounds wonderful, and I'm envious. Glad you had such a great time. What's not to love?
