Well, as you may recall, I leave for BON tomorrow. Yes, I am the windsurf/weather addict. Am going down to scout the island for potential marketing (I own a travel biz and run windsurf events) and to windsurf. The first island I went to was Nantucket where I spent my summers as a kid. Then I found the Caribbean and am now addicted ..each island has excited me. So far, Montserrat, Statia and the Grenadines have been my favs...I lived in Antigua but moved back as my career (counseling) was dead there..most folks turn to rum to solve their problems.

I long to be back on an island although Cape Cod is one and it is nice. I am very excited to see BON. It is new and different. It is small and tranquil from all accounts and having met the BON Sailing Team and traveled with some of them on their freestyle tour, I find all the Bonaireans I have met to be WONDERFUL. And this group is WONDERFUL. Thanks for all the tips and ideas. Thoughts and feedback and most of all tolerating my ranting about the wind.

Hope to find the cam and say hello to Dara and anyone else who wants to see my face. Also want to pet Blikje..I adore that face each AM.

Anne, Hope the wind gods smile on your trip to Bonaire. John and I have been to Montserrat, Antigua, Freeport, Nassau, St. Martin, Barbados, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, the BVI, USVI, Grenada, Carricou and Bonaire. We now return every year to Bonaire and have for about 7 years. Have a great time and please check on the progress of the proposed ban on kite boarding in Lac Bay. Corney Ann
