IMPORTANT: Bonaire not to change Tax Structure until further notice.

Dear Travel Partner,

In light of the feedback we received from our stakeholders and in an effort to ensure that the final levy is equitable and that it be instituted in a seamless manner the government hereby confirms that the revised tax structure (Island Tax) will not be introduced until further notice.

The Island Government of Bonaire thanks you for your continued and on-going support and valuable feedback. As you know, it is our common goal to make Bonaire a destination that visitors will want to keep on returning to year after year.

Until further information is provided by our government, the current tax structure will prevail.

Sounds to me like this idea MAY have ended up in the toilet.. At any rate, nothing happens quickly when you're on island time.
