The referendum thread is so old now it disappeared from the 1st page ... but for all who want the newest info I thought I will start a new thread.....

A round table conference was planned for July, I have no idea if it will be held or not ...
The Bonaire government has formed a work group (with experts from Holland in it) and expects a first rapport from them in September

The Dutch minister for the Antilles has been on St.Maarten and Curacao for a few days and made some comments

the inter-islands round table conference took place .... one more time without Curacao. If I remember well, up to know Curacao did not participate in any of the meetings this year, each time with a different excuse. One really cant't blame the other islands that they just go ahead

I certainly goes all very slow ... Saba has its own ideas about it - Bonaire has to wait for September when there should be the report of their own work group ....

TKS, Bridgitte.

Looks as though the Antilles are like the rest of us: everybody in the circular boat is rowing their own course. That always makes real progress a bit difficult.
