You can visit, and go on job interviews, but you may not work legally. If someone decides to hire you, they'll have to do your work permit, which can take +/- 3 mos (and costs a few hundred US$). During that time the permit is being requested, you're not allowed to be on the island, and there's no guarantee you'll be approved. Also, to get a work permit, you must have a skill that a local/resident does not have. Your potential employer here will have to prove that he/she tried to hire locally, but that no Antillean/Bonairean can perform that specific job. It's not impossible--just come prepared with your CV's. It's also a good idea to bring with you a recent police report verifying that you have no police record, and a doctor's note, showing you are in good health, and do not have HIV. (These papers, plus others I can't think of right now, would be required to request a work permit anyway).
