Hello:
Unfortunately we lost our camera during a dive to the windjammer. The camera floats so we were hoping it would wash up to shore before we flew home on Feb. 4th...no luck since the water was very rough. The camera was a digital and had picture already on it. It was in a yellow case with a large flash on it. We know this is a long shot but figured that if someone did find it they might have a heart and return it. Please email if anyone knows of a camera that was washed up to shore and we will respond with a mailing address and many thanks...we love Bonaire!!!!

Trisha

It is more likely to wash up in Curacao as the trade winds would blow it further away from shore. Maybe your house insurance will cover it.

The SE trades and the waves actually go NW toward shore in the vicinity of the BOPEC piers and the Windjammer so it could have grounded on Bonaire west of the shore entry but that is 'shore not frequented'. I am not sure that there is access to most of it.

Check your homeowners, as Brian said, if it cost more than your deductible, you might try it, the only problem might be no police report.
