Does anyone know if mid-week flights from chicago exists?  We are going to Bonaire in December of 2009.  Our accommodations start on a Sunday and we'd like to say for about 10 to 11 days (we figured the airfare is too expensive just to stay one week). Any suggestions would be welcome.

Try AA leaving Tue. or Thur. via San Juan.

Also consider the flight through Atlanta on Delta -- though I don't remember if it's a midweek flight. If you pursue this route spend one night in ATL, and catch the flight to BON the next day. Trying to fly ORD-ATL-BON the same day might be too tight (you have only 45 minutes between flights in ATL).

We flew ORD-SJU-BON in August. The layover in SJU is ~ 6 hours. We have friends there and got to see them during both layover. Otherwise I'd gone gaga, with nothing to do for 6 hours.

Plus, the route through ATL offers the shortest flights from ORD to BON as it lies closer to the great circle between Chicago and Kralendjik (not by much, but every mile counts!!)
