Hello everyone!! I am leaving for our honeymoon and first trip to BON. We have a pretty long layover in Aruba on the way down. Does anyone have suggestions to past the time. Can you leave the airport an explore the island, and then return to the airport?? Any suggestions would be great.

I don't know how long your lay over is but there are many options. You can leave the airport and it is a short taxi to downtown. You can easily spend a full day there. Aruba's airport can get very busy sometimes so be sure to leave ample time to get your next flight. We used to check in and then go to town. If you have time and they still allow this that is the best option.

Also, you can arent a car, that way you have your luggage with you. the car kiosks are just out the door from where you pick up your luggage.
Lock luggage in trunk and go beach. You can shower at one of the hotel's pool areas (rinse off at least)
