Is it true that BON-ARU American flights are cancelled in Dec.? Someone said this in a thread just below here.

I understand that flights will operate only 3 days a week - Thurs/Fri/Sun from 01Dec.
On those days there will be three flights a day.

Unless things have changed in the last week(which is entirely possible), AA will only operate the ARU/BON and BON/ARU connection on Thur., Fri., and Sun. during December and january. I too have re-ticketed three times in the past few months for a Christmas trip. If you can get to CUR, and find no air to BON, remember the new Flamingo Ferry is a good option. It takes about 1:30 each way and the cost is comparable to flying. Check schedules, they are somewhat in a state of flux as to fare and schedule, but the service is fast and reliable, and the prices are reasonable.

Aruba is not the best way but it can be done. We went through both ways on Nov 24 and Dec 1 with a tolerable amount of hassle. Both connections were from AA to United in Aruba. Inbound through Aruba was 40 - 45 min, and outbound was 65 min. This was OK with our 1:45 time between flights. So no 4th ticket change was needed. Great trip and we will be back soon!
