Continental announced yesterday it will begin Saturday service from EWR to CUR starting December 17. Not sure about flight times yet. Another option for those planning ahead.

also announced yesterday was Jet Blue will now offer non-stop from EWR-SJU. haven't had time to look up flight times to see if it makes for a shorter layover than AA.

daily nonstop service between Newark and San Juan, Puerto Rico, starting November 17. The low-fare carrier expects to operate all flights from Terminal A.

To launch this new service, JetBlue will offer introductory sale fares between Newark and San Juan starting from $99* each way. Sale fares must be purchased by July 26 for travel through December 14, 2005. Seats are limited and customers are encouraged to book early. Blackouts dates of November 22 through November 28 will apply to all introductory sale fares.

JetBlue's regular one-way fares between Newark and San Juan will range from $124* to $299* each way, when booked at www.jetblue.com or by calling 1-800-JETBLUE.

So, if we take the flight to SJU, how do we get to Bonaire?

Brian, The American Eagle flight leaves SJU for Bonaire around 6pm (with some seasonal variations by a few minutes). There are also seasonal variations on which days they fly. The return from Bonaire is early morning, somewhere around 8am (again with seasonal variations as early as 6am)meaning you would not make the morning flight back to EWR on Jet Blue.
