About 5 weeks ago, Bonaire Exel canceled the 11 AM Bonaire to Curacao flight. They continued to issue tickets for this flight via their American Agent, Maduro Dive until a few days ago.

The flight continued to show up on their web site, but it hasn't operated in six weeks.

We were stuck, flightless, as a result.

BE CAREFUL!

Hi

What did you do for alternative transportation from Bon?

Also, had you orginialy purchasd your tickets on line or via a travel agent, or some other source?

And did you get from Cur to Bon initially on BE?

TIA. Lydia

We chartered a Divi Air aircraft for the three of us. Cost was $1086 US.

Purchased our tickets directly from their US Agent Maduro Dive.

We had actual physical paper ticket stock in hand for three passengers for a flight that was cancelled five weeks before being issued. And not just one day's flight was cancelled...the entire flight had been eliminated from their schedule... everywhere but their booking computer!!!!!!!!

Our southward flight was on Eagle from SJU.

Although an improvement over ALM, BE is still not reliable. If you NEED to be somewhere on a given day (I am a heart doctor) you cannot use BE.

If you just want to relax on vacation, well, then, that's ok. A day lost on that end is just a small annoyance.
