I am very concerned with earlier posting that BonaireExpress may cease operations as of today.
We have two confirmed and PAID tickets for the Sunday Apr 10th direct flight to Aruba. We arrive in Bonaire on the 4th and do not depart from Aruba until the 18th, so we have some flexibility with time. Only problem is getting from B to A.
What other airlines might have connecting hops through a nearby intermediary island.? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for alternate means of getting to Aruba.

Bonaire Reporter's site is posting late breaking news on this. Apparently service will continue without legal interference. They report that the judge in the case has postponed any action indefinitely and has denied the requested lien because it would force BE to stop service and that is too great a hardship on the Antilles. BonRep here: http://www.bonairereporter.com/ . This week's issue also had a note to the same effect.

The same information was on the Amigoe site earlier today but is not now; there is a news item re BE there. http://www.amigoe.com/english/ .

Glen,
Thanks for the good news.
I had fired off a frantic email to BonaireExpress and within a few hours received this reassuring reply from the station manager, Arian van der Werff:

"I understand your concern, but I can confirm that the latest news is very positive, namely that we will continue our operations 'as normal'. Please do not worry any longer and start preparing for your holidays!"
The anxiety level is now down several notches! :-)

Could someone give me the web site address for Bonaire Express and Divi airlines. I am having trouble finding them. Thanks for your help.
Andy.
