PHILIPSBURG--Air ALM no longer has credit at Princess Juliana
International Airport (PJIA). Airport management last week informed the
Curacao-based company that, starting yesterday, it will only accept cash
transactions for landing fees and other payments due. "Before they land,
their representative here has to hand over a cheque to the
airport," Commissioner Michael Ferrier explained to The Daily Herald
yesterday.
