We were fortunate enough to have booked a flight from Atlanta to Aruba with FF miles. We are taking a separate flight from Aruba to Bonaire and already have our paper tickets in hand to save on the long lines at the airport. My question is, by doing this, has anyone had any problems with luggage making the connection. I would hate to get to Bonaire and my Scuba equipment be stuck on Aruba. Any thoughts of how to insure this does not happen would be greatly appreciated.

Because you will be changing airlines in Aruba you will need to collect your luggage, go through customs and then re-check it with your airline to Bonaire (assume you are using BonairExel). Once you turn it over to them it should make the plane unless there is a weight problem.
