I am coming down in July on AA - Is it easy to pick up duty free booze at the San Juan airport? Am I limited to 2 liters? Any advice is welcome.

Can't remember the limit but it is very easy to buy booze in SJU as there are many duty free shops.

How does the price in the duty free shop in San Juan compare with local prices in Bonaire itself. Also how do the prices compare with the duty free shops in the USA?

I got a super deal on Kahlua in Aruba at Duty Free: 10.00 USD for the big bottle..also 13.00 for Malibu. I have not shopped in PR but bought at Tag Heurer in Aruba 6 years ago for 525.00 and saw it on the way home in PR airport for 450.00! Shop around and have fun..and don't forget, MBJ has SUPER shops for Jamaican coffee and spices..haaa

Vodka is also very cheap duty free.Know your prices, some liquor is no bargain. However wine is inexpensive in Bonaire.

We are flying AJ from Chicago to Montego Bay then on to Bonaire. Can you get in the duty free shops at Montego Bay while en route to Bonaire? If so, are the prices any better than waiting to get to Bonaire?

I love the duty free shops Tom but cannot comment on liquor prices. They are cheaper than the US for items I enjoy (Frangelico and Malibu)..but I found SUPER deals in Aruba. I never buy liquor in Bonaire, just wine (great prices) and Guinness.

They sell Barefoot Chardonnay (Lighthouse serves it too) and man, it's a lovely white wine.
